ABOUT ME

Hola and welcome!

I’m Valentina Romo Hernández, a Yoga and Physical Education teacher with a passion for movement, connection, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies.

Movement has always been an important part of my life. Growing up in Chile, I found it through dance and later through many different forms of exercise and sport. Over time, I discovered that what I truly love is simply moving, exploring what my body can do, challenging myself, and finding the joy that comes from feeling strong, present, and connected.

Yoga became a meaningful part of that exploration. It taught me to slow down, pay attention, and listen to what my body is asking for, while still leaving plenty of room for play and discovery.

My journey has also taken me beyond Chile. During the three years I lived in Sweden, I had the opportunity to practice with and learn from different yoga teachers, each with their own approach and perspective. That experience broadened the way I understand yoga and helped me develop my own approach to teaching.

Today, I bring these experiences into my classes. My approach combines mindful movement, breath awareness, physical exploration, and lots of fun. With my background in physical education, I enjoy creating classes that are supportive, adaptable, and challenging in a way that feels good for each person.

I believe our bodies are constantly changing, and our practice can change with them. Some days we may want to challenge ourselves, while other days we may need to slow down and simply breathe.

My goal is to create a space where you can leave expectations at the door, move in a way that feels good, and discover something new about yourself along the way.

Whether you are completely new to yoga, returning to your practice, or simply looking for a new way to move, you are welcome here.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to practice together.

With gratitude,
Valentina
